I know, I know....it's been awhile. ;)
As some of you may know, I've been recovering from knee surgeries. My first one was in December and the second one was last Friday. I have had a lot of time to just sit and do nothing. During the first recovery period, I mainly just watched television, and LOTS of it. This time around I have zero desire to even turn it on. I've been spending a lot of time in Scripture. January 1st, I started daily devotions that will have me reading through the Bible in one year. (To join me, you can sign up
here for daily emails.) Along with that, I am also studying the passages with the
Precept Inductive Bible Study Method.
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to open up and read the Bible all day. I should have done this during my first recovery. Shame on me. God has shown me so much in the past few weeks. If you haven't been in the Word lately, I would encourage you to do so.
In digital news...the digital scrapbooking community has been focused on raising money for Mye De Leon (a fellow digital designer). She has a newborn baby boy, Alphonse, who needs a life-saving surgery. You can read about the De Leon family journey
here. You can also donate directly to them there as well. Also, there is a HUGE digital scrapbooking collaboration that is being sold at
Pixels & Company to raise money for the surgery. Over 100 designers contributed to this kit. My portion of the collab is also available at
Two Peas in a Bucket. I will be donating 100% of my portion of the proceeds to Mye during January and February.
.....and here is some beautiful inspiration for you using this collection.....
