More Cosmo & SRM

Today I get to show you what I did with the re-released Wanted papers from Cosmo Cricket and the new collection of SRM Stickers - We've Got Your Stickers. I am so excited about this new line of stickers. They come not only with black stickers but white and brown too! *swoon*

I created a card using the sketch challenge provided by the oh-so-talented Jenyfur Pohl. You can find all the challenge info as well as some more inspiration at the SRM blog.

Cosmo Cricket & SRM Stickers

I have always been a Cosmo Cricket fan (and am pretty sure that I always will be too!). So, when I found out that I was going to get the chance to pick a collection to play with from their new CHA releases....I was so excited but had such a hard time deciding which one! Ultimately, I decided on Togetherness. I *think* it's my favorite release....but goodness....I do really love Mitten Weather, and Matilda, and Wanted....and....yeah, you get the idea right?!

And SRM....uh-huh. You KNOW that I love them. Have you seen their new releases? Take a peek here, here, and HERE!

Family Vacation & New Kits!

Good morning everyone!

Wow, it's been a busy week. I've been playing catch-up after a week of family vacation. It was such a fabulous time though! We went to the Creation Museum and the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky and then to Shipshewana, Indiana to enjoy a few days at Splash Universe. I haven't done much editing of the photos yet but here are a couple....

 This one is of Drew and I on the Cracker Barrel porch in Florence, KY. We were waiting for all the boys to get done with their checker tournament. 

 And this one is a self-portrait that we took on the stairs outside of the Hyatt where we stayed. I just love that it's a bit goofy!

Last week, my new kit - Woodsy, released. Did you get a peek at it yet? It's perfect for your outdoor photos.

This week, I have a Back To School kit which is so much fun! You can buy the entire kit but I also have it separated so that you can purchase either the just the elements or papers on their own. Does anyone LOVE houndstooth as much as I do? ;)

August Guest Designer, CHA & lots of Monsters!

It's been a week since I've been back from CHA. I really don't know where the time goes sometimes. I really MEANT to blog sooner! (How many times have you heard that from me lately? lol)

CHA was awesome. I mean awesome. Nick, my husband went with me. We had such a wonderful time walking the floor and meeting so many of my online friends. He even helped me with make and takes at the SRM booth. ....Of course, he threatened my life if I were to take any photos of him playing with paper. ;)

We got to hang out with our dear friends Norma and Damien Kennedy. They own the new online store For the Luv of Art. It's also a kit club and you'll LOVE her one of a kind stamps she includes in them. I loved helping her shop!

I met soooooooooo many people that I talk to online but here are just a few......from the SRM Stickers team - Susan and John (the owners), Tanis Giesbrecht, Jing-Jing Nickel, Jenyfur Pohl, Kathy Racoosin (also on my CT), Deana Boston, Amy Heller, Laura (SRM designer). Some other friends.....Suzy West, Tricia Wilson, Stacey Michaud, Pamela Young, Susan Dupre, Charity Hassel, Tammy Tutterow, Carrie Ferrier, Shemaine Smith (also on my CT), Melissa Elsner, Tina Albertson, Rebecca Cross, Jen Allyson......I could go on. It was just a blast. I think I'm going to try to go to Winter CHA in January. :) :) :)

So....without further ado....I would like to introduce my August Guest Designer....Kathleen Taylor!  She is a super talented woman that I've had the pleasure of working with on the Creative Memories DT for quite some time. Here's a little bio that she wrote for you.....

I have been scrapbooking for over 12 years. I started 3 months before my wedding at a Creative Memories Party and was instantly hooked. Over the years, my style has constantly evolved. I just recently started doing Digi. I am a traditional girl at heart, but love the fact that I can create anywhere and I do not have to clean up a mess (trust me! I am one messy scrapbooker!). Ok, I cannot deny it anymore. I am hooked on Digi too!

 I am a mom to very active 8 year old twins and a two year old, and have been married to my husband for 12 years. I have 3 dogs, live in the middle of nowhere and I love every bit of my life. I wouldn't change a thing. Well, maybe my Mastiff's "drooling" issue BUT other than that...nothing.
